George had been such a superb addition to our family that we soon wanted another Miniature Schnauzer. By this time we had started showing, something that happenend by accident. A friend of ours was attending a local college taking a grooming course, part of the course was to arrange a companion dog show and we went along to offer support. George was entered in to a novice class and was given a third, first and second place going to experienced show people. We enjoyed the day so much that we decided to show George at Open and Championship shows. Gail and Martin were there for us again with help and tips on both showing and grooming. With their help we were able to do very well with George.
Jenny was to be our next show dog and we went back to Gail and Martin, they had just had a litter and using their experience in the breed picked out Jenny as a good prospect for the show ring.
