George was our first Miniature Schnauzer, at the time we had no idea that there would be more to follow or that they would become such a big part of our lives.
We had spent a lot of time reading about the breed and admiring their pictures. Although we had no intentions of showing our dog, we had decided the best place to find a breeder was on the show circuit. Having fallen for the dogs we saw in those pictures we wanted the very best we could find. After visiting lots of open shows, speaking to the owners and breeders, meeting their dogs and finding out about the breed we were hooked.
It was at one of these shows that we met Gail and Martin Wise (BRUMIST). They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the breed, George was from one of their litters and the help and support we have had from them since has been superb.
